FIRST HALF
1st Minute SOU – Souths kick off. Physical early in defence the Bunnies. Manly through Matt Orford clear to the Souths 30m line.
3rd Minute SOU – Fetuli Talanoa and then John Sutton make half breaks giving the Bunnies a chance for the first attacking kick of the game. Jeremy Smith chips to the corner but Michael Robertson defuses the danger on his goal line.
4th Minute MAN – Jamie Lyon instigates a Manly strike into the right edge and takes Manly into the Souths half but the last play doesn’t eventuate. Souths counter and get the first penalty thanks to Adam Cuthbertson laying on the play the ball.
6th Minute SOU PENALTY GOAL – Cuthbertson infringes again this time moving from marker on his line too early. Joe Williams will take an easy shot at penalty goal from just to the left of the posts.
RABBITOHS PENALTY GOAL – J Williams successful from just to the left of the posts.
