FIRST HALF

1^st Minute MEL – Cooper Cronk caps a good first set by the Storm with a high wide kick that Brisbane field near their own try line. 

2^nd Minute BRI – PEtero Civoniceva’s first charge is in excess of 10m, a good start to what could be his last game for the Broncos. Shane Perry’s first kick however is a poor one but Billy Slater looked to have knocked it on but referee Steve Clark calls play on. 

4^th Minute BRI – After a great set coming off their own 20m line Perry puts a bomb in the air that Cronk fields under minimal pressure 20m out from his own line. Brisbane must score early points to be any chance today and that means Perry and his chasers have to be spot on from the start. 

4^th Minute MEL PENALTY – Israel Folau grabs a penalty for the Storm for Brisbane being inside the 10m. The Storm now on the attack – interesting to note both teams are playing very close to the ruck early. 

5^th Minute STORM TRY - Cooper Cronk gets the ball on the left just 10m out on the last tackle, fades left and hits Matt King who draws the winger easily and Anthony Quinn goes over in the left corner untouched. Storm strike first.
